Maxillary Lateral Ridge Augmentation with Autogenous Mandibular Symphysis graft Prior to Endosseous Dental Implant Placement: A case report

Clinical and radiological examinations revealed an insufficient bucco-lingual width of the edentulous ridge requiring a horizontal bone augmentation prior to implant placement. Methods An autogenous bone block graft was harvested from the mandibular symphysis, fixed with titanium miniscrews, covered first with both autogenous and xenograft particles, and second with a resorbable barrier membrane.
